Support & Maintenance Service*

First year of support and maintenance included with any software purchase:

  • Technical Support for two Primary Users and IT Staff

    Upgrades, Updates, and Patches

    Version Upgrades are typically released every few years and represent an extensive redesign to incorporate major improvements over previous versions. Version upgrades are designated by the major version number changing (i.e., from 2.6 to 2.7). Owners of previous versions are eligible for upgrade pricing which incorporates a pro-rated credit for the life of your previous version if it was purchased less than two years prior to the upgrade.
    Current Support Contract clients receive an additional 10% discount on upgrades.

    Edition Upgrades are available to upgrade a Standard license to a Professional license. Edition Upgrades are priced at the simple difference in base cost for the licenses.

    Updates are typically released at least 3 times per year and represent minor improvements in the product. Support Subscribers receive updates free-of-charge. Updates can be purchased by non-subscribers for a one time fee. Purchase of an update includes 30 days of Support & Maintenance.

    Patches are minor usability enhancements and bug fixes and are provided to owners free-of-charge. Patches are released as needed.

    Patches are now distributed through the automatic update system integrated into ProAct 2.7 and later.
